Dr. Sarbjit Singh received the IIRSI 2014 Gold Medal for his contribution to ophthalmology, presented by the Governor of Tamil Nadu in Chennai.

The honour was conferred at the Annual Conference of the Intra-Ocular Implant & Refractive Society of India (IIRSI), held in Chennai on 5–6 July 2014.
