What Is Phaco Cataract Surgery?
We perform state-of-the-art phacoemulsification (Phaco) cataract surgery using the Alcon Centurion system. The procedure involves a micro-incision of less than 2.2mm, dissolving the cloudy lens using ultrasonic energy, and replacing it with a foldable intraocular lens (IOL). Most patients achieve excellent vision within 24β48 hours.
